Oh hi there! Thanks so much for stopping by! My name is Shannon and I am the author of this little corner of the internet!
I am 24 years old, and like a fine wine, I think I'm getting better with age. :) I'm a business analyst by day, blogger and DIY extraordinaire by night (and sometimes by day too, just don't tell my boss!) I'm super goofy/quirky, and I love making new friends and meeting all different kinds of people, and I hope that transfers through my writing. I have a deep love for all things vintage, going to Disney World, kittens, DIY projects, power tools, home decor, photography, learning how to fix/build/renovate things that I never thought possible, baking cupcakes, and laughing until no sound comes out -- aren't those the best kind of laughs?! :)
Though I may sound super cool, I have to admit that I'm a nerd at heart. :) In May of 2012, I earned my Masters Degree in Management Information Systems -- don't know what that means? Me either!
My first job out of college was as a business intelligence analyst (I worked right next to a guy with star wars action figures all over his desk). I now am just a plain old business analyst who is lucky enough to work on international projects and travel the world while doing so!
I call Florida my home, where I am lucky enough to share a 2 bedroom townhome with the man of my dreams, Aaron (and our 2 cats Jasmine and Duchess, of course).
He's way cooler than me but I don't let him know it. :) Aaron is a deputy with the sheriff's office -- see I told you he's cooler than me and my partner in crime when it comes to fixing up our home. He always seems to support the crazy ideas I come up with. He's a keeper. :)
I would love for you to follow along and share in our journey to not only transfrom our fixer-upper house into a home, but to really enjoy learning as much as we can along the way. :)
